Primary School
Mount Evelyn Christian School is a single stream Primary School from Prep to Grade 6.
It is located within the grounds of our Secondary School on 13 acres of beautiful bushland and playground in Mount Evelyn.
Working together
We believe that education is a partnership between the family and the school.
We seek to complement and support the values you want to teach your child at home - How to be loving, caring, respectful and responsible.
The school and the family should work together to help each of our children to reach their full potential.

Educational Adventure
In Primary School children establish confidence in the fundamental skills of literacy and numeracy.
Our Primary School`s approach to the educational adventure upon which each student embarks is unique.
Our curriculum is both comprehensive and uncluttered.
Teachers focus on the progress and particular needs of each child, No child is allowed to get" Lost in the crowd".
Continuity with Secondary School
On completion of their primary years our students move smoothly into their secondary schooling without the stresses of relocation to a different school community. They benefit from the security of being known and understood by their teachers even before they commence in Secondary. Our Secondary School is divided into a Middle School (7- 9) and a Senior School (10- 12).

Secondary School
Each student is encouraged to make the most of his or her talents and abilities.
Our internationally recognised multi- age program is built around three themes.

Pathways and VCE Success
The Pathways Program encourages senior students to pursue areas of employment training and further education which are best suited to their particular skills and personality.
Over the last five years 97 of our year 12 students have successfully completed VCE.
These students have now gone on to a wide range of University and TAFE studies and employment.
The subjects we offer give access to all Tertiary courses.
